Dear Photograph,
1982, On the freeway in my dad’s 1937 Chevy street rod, which was a work in process in the day. A stranger pulls up besides us, leans out the window, gesturing to give us a Polaroid photo, which they just snapped. As the stranger leans out the window of his car with the photo, my dad reaches out his window to accept the photo, the stranger yells “It’s good to see old cars on the road!” Social media 1980’s style.
