Dear Photograph,
I looked at you and held you up and there she was, my mother posing gracefully in the early 1950’s on the railing of the original Summer Pavilion at Parliament Hill. A few years later it was demolished and now they have rebuilt an exact replica in the exact same spot, where I can go and enjoy the same view, sitting on the railing, posing gracefully just like my mother.
