Dear Photograph, As my father looked back at my mother taking this photograph of the two of us riding our bikes, side by side, twenty years ago on the Galveston, Texas seawall, who would’ve known that so much would change in twenty years.The iconic Flagship Hotel over the water was destroyed by Hurricane Ike in 2008 and now the Pleasure Pier amusement park attraction stands in its place and my father has since passed away. One thing that hasn’t changed are my fond memories of the adventures and travels he took me on, all over the world. I miss my father dearly, but I take pride in keeping close those great qualities he taught me and sharing them with others. Adventure, spontaneity and a big heart. And with that I find peace.Love, Stef
