Dear Photograph,
There he stood, side by side, with Grandma Margaret over fifty years ago. The handsome young airman, my uncle Jimmy, smiling for one more photo before he left his home in Berkeley, California to serve his country overseas in Germany. Every veteran was also someone’s son or daughter, brother or sister, grandson or grandaughter and every one of us have hearts full of pride and gratitude for all veterans everywhere who sacrificed so much. We remember you all on Veteran’s Day and my Uncle Jimmy. Grandma Margaret was so proud of you and so are we….always.
Linda
